Because this bed is really for a puppy it is not necessary to consider the size of different breeds of dog. The diameter of the bed is approximately 15 inches internally and most young puppies will be very comfortable in the bed. Obviously puppies of large breed dogs will soon grow too big for the bed where as miniture or small breeds could use the bed for life. Curiously, we have found that many people buy this bed from us for their cat.
